Gladys Narcisse, born November 3, 1967, in the vibrant heart of Port Au Prince, Haiti, departed this world peacefully on February 28, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida. She was surrounded by love and family during her final moments, a testament to a life dedicated to those she held dear. 

Gladys’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of kindness, loyalty, and honesty—traits that defined her every interaction. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, she devoted her career to caring for others, providing comfort and support with unwavering compassion and dedication. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Louis Pierre and Denise Simplice, she leaves behind her loving husband of 17 years, Luder; son, James (Patricia) Narcisse; brothers, Pedro Pierre, Stevenson Louis; sisters, Natasha Pierre, Mirlande Louis and Duliane Simplice; nieces and nephews, Alhnia Pierre, Amelia Pierre, Stephen Pierre, Carl Henry Lactete, Whitney Adonis, Isaiah Altidor, Malik Gibson Verly; grandchildren, Jasiah Narcisse, Jashayla Narcisse and Keyuntis Jones all of whom remember her for her boundless generosity and the joy she brought into their lives. In her spare time, Gladys found joy in shopping, traveling, and cooking, frequently creating treasured memories with her family. Her love for adventure was rivaled only by her love for her home, which was forever filled with laughter and the aroma of her culinary pursuits. 

The family received friends during visitation on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care. A funeral service was held the following day, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at People’s Church, where all were invited to celebrate the remarkable life Gladys led.
