TRAFFIC PATTERN UPDATE FOR HWY 17 at HAVENDALE BLVD
Due to the FDOT intersection work, the turn lanes onto Havendale Blvd. and MLK Blvd from Hwy 17 has changed to one left turn lane north and southbound. Drivers used to this intersection have had two turn lanes (one dedicated left turn and the other left or straight) for both north and south on Hwy 17.
This is now a permanent change that FDOT has made. Drivers should use extra caution while traveling in this area until drivers get used to the new pattern. FDOT states that new pavement markings and signage will be install in the near future.
