Lake Region Lakes Management District: “This is a picture of the Lake Lulu dam.
It provides the primary release of water from the Chain of Lakes. This dam has two 15-foot-wide weirs and on 10-29-24 (when this picture was taken) there is about 9 ½ inches of water flowing over the dam. The water elevation on 10-29-24 is 132.08’ (29 datum). The dam will remain open based on the current weather reports.
All of the other water control structures under the Lake Region Lakes Management District’s control are currently closed.”
