Auburndale Police Asking for Public’s Help Identifying Suspects Involved in Counterfeit Money Exchange

On 8/13/2024, an exchange of counterfeit money took place at the Beverage Castle located at 605 Charlotte Rd., Auburndale, FL. At 9:30pm a dark gray compact 4 door Honda came in from the front drive-thru bay door with three unknown occupants.

The driver’s side rear passenger requested five (5) Gold Rush Legacy lottery tickets valued at a total of $100.00. The passenger then gave the store a $100.00 bill folded up as they handed him the tickets. The store quickly noticed the counterfeit bill and as they attempted to confront the passenger the vehicle drove away.

SUSPECT 1 – W/H male, dark facial hair, prescription glasses, tattoos on both arms and hands, last seen wearing a black t-shirt with blue shorts.

DRIVER – White female, dark hair, sunglasses on top of her head, smoking a cigarette, last seen wearing a black tank top.

Front passenger is unknown.
