The fire started around the time Caldwell Elementary School was letting out so there were some concerned citizens, but no children were in danger thanks to the fast- acting efforts of fire crews.

The fire appears to have originated from a forklift unloading a beverage product from a tractor trailer, which then spread to the pallets, packaging and trailer.

There was some minor fire damage to the building and smoke spread throughout most of the warehouse area adjacent to the loading docks.

Crews got a quick knockdown on the fire and prevented spread to the large warehouse. There were no injuries according to Josh Starr, Communications Manager for the City of Auburndale.

The scene was cleared roughly two hours later at 4:22 p.m.
