Woman Seen on Surveillance Video Removing Five Boxes of Cigarettes From Behind Convenience Store Counter and Leaving Store Without Paying

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY:

Auburndale Police Department responded to the WAWA located at 334 Havendale Blvd., Auburndale, FL in reference to a retail theft.

On June 24, 2024, an unknown white female entered the WAWA store and approached the register near the cigarettes. She then intentionally went behind the counter and removed approximately five (5) boxes of cigarettes (3 Marlboro Red 100’s and 2 Newport 100’s). When the unknown female was approached by the WAWA staff, she insisted that she had walked in with them. She then walked out of the store with the five (5) boxes of cigarettes passing all points of sales without making any attempt to pay. She was seen entering the driver side of an older model gold Ford Escape and was last seen making a left turn onto Hobbs Road, Auburndale, FL.

SUSPECT 1 – White female, short reddish/brown hair, prescription glasses, wearing a long blue and white dress with light colored sandals.
