On August 20, 2024 crews responded to a possible structure fire at 4051 Logistics Pkwy in Winter Haven.
The call came in just before 5:00 p.m.
Winter Haven Fire Department and Polk Country Fire Rescue responded to the call.
Upon Polk County Fire Rescue’s arrival, they did not find flames, just some smoke.
Katelyn Hoverkamp, Polk County Fire Rescue confirmed that the building was vacant and no injuries/no transports took place.
The building was a new facility that was intended for a rental storage.
The cause of smoke was believed to be an electrical related issue.
The scene was cleared roughly 2 and a half hours later.
