Obituary for Carolyn Jo McNair

Carolyn Jo McNair, 80, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at home with her family by her side.
Born July 16, 1943, in Durham, NC she has lived in the Winter Haven area for most of her life. She was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship in Wahneta and retired from the position of Director of Human Resources after 38 years at Winter Haven Hospital.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Gina Lynn Wallace; a grandson, Aaron Truett; and a stepson, Brian McNair.
She is survived by her husband of eight years, Hubert A. McNair; a daughter, Cheri Kent; two sons, Bentham Groover and his wife Rene’ and William Groover, Jr.; a sister, Janis Tyler; a brother, Frank Prather and his wife Gail Clark; six grandchildren, Korey Groover, Stephanie Mooney, Kristen Toepfer, Amanda Groover, SaraBeth Groover and Amber Truett; eight great-grandchildren; her step children, Jeff McNair and his wife Kasey and Debbie McNair; six step granddaughters; three step grandsons, and three step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9:00am until 11:00am, Saturday, July 20, 2024, followed by Funeral Services at 11:00am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
