The US National Weather Service of Tampa Bay Florida has issued a tornado watch for parts of Florida today, including Polk County. The watch is in effect until 3pm EST. Be sure to stay alert and weather aware today.
A couple tornados are possible as well as isolated hail up to a quarter size.
Wind expected with the possibility of scattered gusts up to 70 MPH.
