Man Caught On Camera Trading Opened Box With New Item From Shelf At Local Auburndale Store

ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY:

On March 24th, 2024, at approximately 1445 hours a retail theft occurred at the Lowes Store located at 2301 Hwy 92 West, Auburndale, FL.

The suspect entered the store with an open box then switched the open box with a brand-new item from the shelf. While in the store he continued to load up his shopping cart and then exited the store through the garden center. The suspect made no attempt to pay for any of the stolen items totaling $308.00.

The suspect is described as a White Male, with short facial hair, last seen wearing a Black/gray baseball cap with the state of Florida on the front, light blue Polo shirt, tan shorts, dark blue/blk socks, and tan deck shoes. He also has tattoos on both arms.

The suspect left in a dark gray Toyota C-HR LE, 4dr.
