Ray Culver, 75, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on June 10, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 4, 1948, in Donaldsonville, GA.

In Loving Memory of Ray Culver of Winter Haven

Ray, a family man and Navy Veteran, served his country with honor in Vietnam. Ray had a fulfilling career spanning 30 years at Graybar Electric and another 10 years at Philips. He was also an active member of the Freemasons as a Master Mason. He had a deep love of history, science, and in his free time he enjoyed fishing and reading. Ray also loved spending time with his precious dogs.

Ray was a devoted husband and father, and he is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia Culver, children Amy Culver and Daniel Culver, siblings Catherine Culver Kelly and Linda Culver Moseley, as well as nephew/niece Jim Singleton and Karen McNeill, along with her daughters Madison & Madilyn. Ray had many special family members on the Harris side. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond G. Culver, and mother, Katherine Marie Culver. Contributions in Ray’s memory can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 450 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL. 33823.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, June 12th at Steele’s Family Funeral Services, 207 Burns Lane SE., in Winter Haven with a gathering beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Graveside service with Military Honors will be held 1pm Thursday, June 13th at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Marianna, FL. Ray will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
