Fake

Lake Wales, Florida – The Lake Wales Police Department were called to the Publix Supermarket on S. R. 60 this weekend due to someone trying to pass a fake $100 bill. The customer advised they got it from the bank. Then they advised they had more money in their car and went out to get it. They never returned. This same type of incident has also happened recently in Pasco County. Since Jan. 1, Sarasota Police Department detectives have found themselves investigating five different cases involving phony cash. All of the bills have been $100 in denomination.
