Winter Haven is now home to a DIY (Do It Yourself) charming boutique studio called AR Workshop Winter Haven.
“My name is Glenda Mercado and I am the owner of AR Workshop Winter Haven,” Mercado said. “ARW is a franchise with over 100 locations nationwide, 10 in the state of Florida. Locations are individually owned and operated.”
The grand opening was on May 4, 2024. AR Workshop is open Tues-Sat from 11am-6pm and Sunday 11am-4pm + during Workshops.

“My favorite thing about owning the store is that I get to work with my daughter and have fun DIYing,” she said.
“We have a lot of wonderful memories doing arts and crafts together as she was growing up that we’ll always cherish. I was a customer since 2018 and going to ARW was a stress releaser from my high demanding corporate career I was able to disconnect, unwind and create! It was also fun to come to the workshop with friends, family and my team!
After almost 28 year with a global corporation with international and national assignments the time came to do something different and follow other interests.
