At approximately 11:15 a.m. today, Winter Haven Fire personnel responded to the Winter Haven Regional Airport after an aircraft landed on a runway without landing gear engaged.
The plane landed safely and there were no injuries to anyone on the plane or on the ground. There was no fuel leak and no other hazardous situations.
I do not have any information regarding the aircraft itself or how many people were on board at this time.
We are very thankful there were no injuries and the incident didn’t evolve into a more serious situation.
