City Of Winter Haven – Natural Resources
It’s baby opossum season! (Well baby a lot of things season). Opossums are good to have around to control flea and tick populations. Natural Resources staff rescued three abandoned baby possums from one of our garbage trucks and we’re kind of in love. If you find these little guys make sure the mother is not around, keep them warm, and get them to your nearest wildlife rehab so they can be nursed and released.
