City of Winter Haven – Natural Resources:
1st planting event down at South Lake Howard Nature Park! Planted 21 new Florida Friendly trees thanks to TD Bank and the Arbor Day Foundation . These trees act as vital green infrastructure for our City that cool urban temperatures, store flood water & carbon, and of course provide the oh-so-valuable shade! There’s still time to volunteer for our other events on the Chain of Lakes Trail, Lake Maude Nature Park & Inman park! #tdreadycommitment #planttrees #isiparks
