“Traffic Signal Control Boxes
Nice topic, right? Well it seems that our new control boxes installed by FDOT at the intersections of CGB and Hwy 17 along with CGB and First St. have a glitch! According to FDOT, the manufacturer is working on “the glitch”. ‘Why are you telling us this’, you ask?
The glitch causes the light to default to a “safe mode” that will only allow two (maybe three) vehicles thru the intersection at a time. Have you encountered this? We have – numerous times. And FDOT must come out to reset only to have “the glitch” decide when it wants to appear again.
The manufacturer is working hard to get this repaired as quickly as possible. However, if you encounter the intersection, just remember – “the glitch” decided to make you aware that it is still there.
