A traffic accident occurred this evening (August 22, 2024) near the intersection of Cypress Gardens Blvd and Overlook Drive.
The call came in just after 6:00 p.m.
As of 6:40 p.m. there are still lane closures so please avoid the area until the scene is cleared.
Medic Rescue 218 is currently in route to Lakeland with one patient.
The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
EN018 advised that the scene is now being turned over to PCSO.
