LPD UPDATE A pressure cooker was left near a garbage can at the gas pumps of the Shell gas station, 1920 Harden Blvd. Out of an abundance of caution we requested the Tampa police Department bomb squad respond to thoroughly inspect the item. They quickly responded and examined the pressure cooker which appeared to be just abandoned property.
All potentially affected businesses and residents surrounding the area were properly notified. All roads have been opened. We appreciate everyone’s patience with the traffic delays. Safety is always our priority.

TRAFFIC ALERT – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Due to a suspicious incident in the 1900 block of Harden Boulevard, Harden Boulevard will be closed from Ariana Street to West Edgewood Drive. Beacon Road will also be closed from Harden Boulevard to Lincoln Avenue.
Please use alternate routes until further notice.
