“On 12/04/22, at approximately 2258 hours, the victim, REDACTED, and the witness, REDACTED were sitting in a parked vehicle in front of REDACTED residence at REDACTED Walter Ave, Frostproof, FL. The residence is in an area that has occupied homes in the surrounding area.

While they were sitting in the car talking, a silver Toyota pickup truck, driven by the suspect, Angel Galarza, drove through an open field and pulled in front of their vehicle. REDACTED recognized the vehicle as the one Galarza drives. REDACTED began to back down the road in an attempt to get away from Galarza. Galarza continued to drive towards REDACTED’S vehicle as REDACTED backed down the roadway. The witness, REDACTED, got out of the vehicle and was able to get to REDACTED residence.

The victim, REDACTED, attempted to get away from Galarza by going around his vehicle. As REDACTED maneuvered his vehicle to go into a field, Galarza fired six shots from a firearm while he was still in his vehicle. Five shots struck the victim’s vehicle with one striking the driver’s door, one struck the “B” pillar and three entered the driver’s window.

The victim, REDACTED, who was still driving was struck once in the left hand and was grazed on the throat. The victim, REDACTED, was able to leave the area and called for assistance. Galarza left the area and circled back around where he asked the witness, REDACTED, for the victims location.

A sworn recorded interview was conducted with another witness, REDACTED, who advised she had received a call from Galarza earlier in the day stating that he was going to do something stupid. Galarza was upset that REDACTED, his ex-girlfriend, was on a date with someone else. REDACTED ended a 2 year relationship with Galarza within the past two weeks.
